Mission & Vision
The Whistler Health Care Foundation is a charitable organization that raises funds to provide needed capital equipment for the Whistler Health Care Centre.
The Foundation raises awareness and advocates for improving health care resources and services for the Whistler Resort Community.
The Foundation is a high profile organization supported by a strong, diversified board, an expanded donor base and dedicated volunteers and staff who strive to provide a state of the art health care facility providing excellent care, serving the local community and visitors.

Who we help
Last year, the Whistler Health Care Centre treated over 23,000 residents and visitors for medical emergencies That's a huge increase from the 500 patients per year treated when the centre first opened in 1981. The growing popularity of summer activities such as extreme mountain biking, the Mountain Bike Park and the ski and snowboard camps are providing increasing challenges to the participants and to the centre.

What We Need
Some of the original equipment in the clinic is now either insufficient or out-of-date. We need to ensure that our patients have access to the advanced technology of today.
Health Care Centre Upgrades
- State-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as teleadiology and critical care equipment.
- Expanded facilities
- Expanded emergency and regular health care services
